Rainey Qualley stars as singer-songwriter Astor Grey, a rising talent whose career takes a dark turn when she falls into a tumultuous romance with washed-up rock star Brandyn Verge (Ryan Hansen). What begins as love quickly unravels as his true intentions come to light. The film also features Rebecca DeMornay, Olivia Sui, Julia Campbell, and Will Peltz, with special cameos from Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), Peyton Manning, and Edgerrin James.
Written and directed by Kirsten Foe, the film is elevated by its exceptional soundtrack, which plays a crucial role in enhancing the emotional resonance of the story. It includes a fresh cover of Tom Petty's "The Insider" by Brandi Carlile and Jason Isbell, original songs by Rainsford and Scout Willis, and a poignant score composed by Lyle Workman.
